Lee Jong Suk Struggles To Get Out Of The Case He Most Wants To Avoid In 'Law And The City'

It may have seemed like nothing could get to Lee Jong Suk on “Law and The City,” but he’s about to find himself stuck with a case he desperately wants to avoid!

tvN’s “Law and The City” is a new drama that follows five associate attorneys—Ahn Ju Hyeong (Lee Jong Suk), Kang Hui Ji (Mun Ka Young), Cho Chang Won (Kang You Seok), Bae Mun Jeong (Ryu Hye Young), and Ha Sang Gi (Im Seong Jae)—as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of their daily lives. These salaried lawyers, employed by law firms, commute each day to the bustling legal district of Seocho.

As a cool-headed and emotionally detached veteran attorney of nine years, Ahn Ju Hyeong tackles his cases with logic and reasoning, and his attitude is so indifferent that he barely cares whether he wins or loses his trials.

However, even the seemingly unshakable Ahn Ju Hyeong will become agitated on the next episode of the drama. A consistently rude and arrogant client (played by Nam Yoon Ho) irritates Ahn Ju Hyeong, leading to an uncomfortable tension between them.

As Ahn Ju Hyeong has never wanted to get out of a case more desperately in his entire life, he even seeks out Bae Mun Jeong and asks her to switch cases with him—something very unusual for Ahn Ju Hyeong, who typically does whatever he’s told to do regardless of how he feels about a client or a case.

To find out why Ahn Ju Hyeong feels so strongly about avoiding this particular case, tune in to the third episode of “Law and The City” on July 12 at 9:20 p.m. KST!

In the meantime, catch up on the first two episodes of the drama on Viki below:
