"Our Movie" Stars Say Goodbye + Share Thoughts On Tonight's Finale
The stars of SBS’s “Our Movie” shared their emotional final thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!
“Our Movie” tells the poignant love story of Lee Je Ha (Namkoong Min), a film director struggling with an uncertain future, and Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), an aspiring actress who is suffering from a terminal illness.
With just one episode left in the drama’s run, Namkoong Min mentioned a particularly meaningful moment that viewers could look forward to in the finale.
“To Je Ha, Da Eum isn’t merely the past, but an emotion that is still alive and breathing,” he said, “and there is a moment in the final episode where he finally faces that emotion and reveals his true feelings. I hope this story can offer quiet comfort to someone.”
Namkoong Min went on to express his gratitude to the show’s viewers, remarking, “I’d like to sincerely thank the viewers who loved this drama, and if you stay with us until the final scene, I think it will leave a lingering feeling that will remain in your heart for a long time.”
Meanwhile, Jeon Yeo Been reflected on her experience filming the drama. “The time I spent filming ‘Our Movie’ was a time in which I was able to ponder what it means to be alive and what it is that makes me and other people alive,” she shared, “and as we reached Episode 12, those thoughts became even clearer. I think it’s a time when we can share those feelings with the viewers who have joined us.”
Lee Seol urged viewers to tune in to the finale, commenting, “I think you just have to watch Episode 12, for no particular reason. From the moment I read the script, it touched my heart deeply, and even back then, I thought to myself that I really hoped the viewers would join us for this episode no matter what.”
Finally, Seo Hyun Woo teased, “Please keep a close eye on whether Boo Seung Won will help Lee Je Ha until the end for the film ‘White Love,’ whether he will be able to overcome the production crisis with managing director Han, and how the people around the terminally ill Da Eum grow because of her.”
The final episode of “Our Movie” will air on July 19 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
