Stray Kids’ Changbin Makes Heartfelt Donation On His Birthday
Stray Kids’ Changbin celebrated his birthday by giving back in a meaningful way!
In honor of his birthday, Changbin donated 100 million won (approximately $71,970) to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul. The donation will help cover surgery and treatment costs as well as programs that support the psychological well-being of vulnerable children and adolescents who cannot afford care due to financial hardship.
Changbin said in a statement released by his agency, “I am deeply grateful to be able to return the love of my fans on my birthday and to offer a small ray of hope to children,” and added, “I hope my gift can help the children recover and grow up healthy.”
An official from Samsung Medical Center said, “Changbin’s warm heart and his donation of 100 million won will be a great source of strength for the young patients and their families. We will ensure the donation is used carefully for the children’s treatment and recovery.”
Changbin has consistently supported charitable causes, using his influence to make a positive impact. In 2025, he and fellow Stray Kids members donated to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to aid wildfire recovery in South and North Gyeongsang. In 2023, he contributed to Turkey-Syria earthquake relief and was appointed to The Promise’s Honors Club.
