MONSTA X's I.M To Resume Group Activities

MONSTA X’s I.M will soon be returning to group activities!

Previously in May, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that I.M had been advised by doctors to scale back his schedule due to worsening health. In July, the agency further revealed that he was experiencing back pain and would be taking a break from activities to focus on treatment and rest.

On August 22, STARSHIP shared through the fan platform Berriz that I.M’s condition has been steadily improving, and after careful discussion with the artist, he will gradually resume activities at a manageable pace.

STARSHIP Entertainment’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is STARSHIP Entertainment.

We would like to provide an update regarding MONSTA X member I.M’s health condition and future schedule.

Since suspending activities in July due to back pain, I.M has been focusing on rehabilitation treatment as advised by medical professionals, and his condition has been gradually improving.

After thorough discussions with the artist, it has been decided that he will gradually resume activities within a manageable scope.

Accordingly, I.M will be joining the upcoming “2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X – JAPAN” concerts on August 27 and 28, as well as the promotional activities for MONSTA X’s new mini album “THE X.”

We will continue to place the artist’s health as our top priority and do our utmost to ensure that I.M can return to the stage fully recovered and in good health.
