Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2026, August Week 3
CORTIS’s “REDRED” spent yet another week on top, making it the song’s 10th week overall at No. 1. Congratulations to CORTIS!
Moving up six spots to No. 2 is Hearts2Hearts’ “LEMON TANG.”
Three songs newly entered the top 10 this week.
RESCENE’s “Pretty Girl” debuts at No. 3. A remake of KARA’s hit track from 2008, RESCENE’s version preserves the original melody line while refining the overall sound architecture.
Debuting at No. 6 is Red Velvet’s “Surfin’ Boy,” the title track from their summer mini album “Velvet Summer.” “Surfin’ Boy” is a dance song that blends languid bossa nova guitar sounds, laid-back reggae rhythms, and a sophisticated house groove.
Moving up three spots to No. 9 is BLACKPINK’s Jennie with her solo single “Less than a lover.” Inspired by summer, the song explores the excitement and lingering emotions of a relationship that is neither quite lovers nor just friends.
