Dok2 To Release Thunderground EP On November 25th

19 year old prodigy emcee/producer Dok2  (pronounced as ‘Dokki‘) will release his first EP (mini-album) under Epik High‘s Map the Soul label on November 25th.  Dok2 is the latest addition to the ever growing Map the Soul label, which already consists of Epik High, MYK and Planet Shiver.  Korean hip-hop fans may already know Dok2 from his affiliation and collaborations with other hip-hop artists from The Movement crew (Drunken Tiger, Dynamic Duo, Double K) as well as Supreme Team.

Talented in both rapping and music production, Dok2 already has built a name for himself in the underground Korean hip-hop scene having released two mixtapes (“Thunderground Muzik” and “Vol.1 – Illstrumentalz”) as well as being a featured guest on other artist’s tracks and lending a hand in producing records (ie. Drunken Tiger‘s “Die Legend” and “Die Legend 2“).

Since his signing in September, Dok2 has been working hard behind the scenes with the Map the Soul label, releasing teasers and free tracks for his fans. The new EP will be made available as soon as it is ready in the shop section of the MaptheSoul.com site and in the iTunes Music Store as a digital download worldwide.
