Big Bang And 2NE1 Not Participating In 2010 Dream Concert
YG Entertainment’s singers like Big Bang and 2NE1 will not be participating in this year’s Dream Concert.
The 2010 Dream Concert will be held on May 22 in Seoul World Cup Stadium. Its current list of performers includes 2PM, Super Junior, Wonder Girls, Rain, Lee Hyori, So Nyeo Shi Dae, SS501, KARA, After School, SHINee, f(x), BEAST, T-ara, MBLAQ, 4Minute, UKiss, Rainbow, ZE:A, Davichi and F.Cuz.
We will not be able to see Big Bang and 2NE1 up on the same stage the other K-pop idols this year.
Big Bang’s G-Dragon will be performing as guest performance for Flo Rida’s concert performance in Korea that same day. 2NE1 will not have any special activities this year – which explains their no-show for the concert.
An official from the Korean Entertainment Production Association said on the 12th, “It’s a matter of decisions made by YG Ent internally, there is no special problem. Even though we hope to have many artists participate for this concert, it is sad that these singers will not participate this year.”
