YG's Mysterious Timer: What Could It Mean?
YG Entertainment mysteriously posted a digital clock timer on its official blog, YG Life. The timer was posted on November 22 at 8:22 PM (KST) and its countdown indicates that the important event will occur in less than five days.
A representative from YG hinted that the event will probably concern the delivery of an important announcement. However, the representative also stated, “The only person who knows what will happen on that day is the founder and CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk.”
Of course, this hasn’t stopped fans from speculating what the announcement will be. Many people believe and hope that Yang will announce that Big Bang will make their official comeback, or that 2NE1 will make their official debut in the U.S. Since reports of both scenarios have been in the air since last summer, these would be good guesses to make. Big Bang, who is currently in Japan doing promotions, will almost definitely return to the Korean music scene at some point. And Yang has already announced that 2NE1 will make their U.S. debut with Black-Eyed Peas frontman, Will.i.Am, although no date has been set.
What do you think will happen when the countdown hits zero?
