T-ara’s Eun Jung “I Could Resist Eating and Sleeping to Become Popular”

T-ara’s Eun Jung attracted attention for making a statement about giving up eating and sleeping at the press conference for the movie “White: Melody of Curse” today.

When asked the question, “What would you be able to do in order to gain popularity?” the actress/idol star replied “I haven’t had any special experiences. I would be able to give up the most basic things. I could give up eating and sleeping. I noticed that by reducing sleeping, you can gain something.”

She also stated, “I went through difficult periods during my trainee years and my most glowing and exciting moment was when T-ara won first place on a music show.” The movie “White: Melody of Curse” portrays the jealousy and competition amongst idol group members and the brutal secrets of idol groups behind their glamorous performances. Eun Jung will be playing the role of “Eun Joo,” leader of the idol group “Pink Dolls,” who is ignored by others because she used to be a back-dancer.

“White: Melody of Curse” is scheduled to hit the theaters on June 9th.
