2AM's Press Conference for Kuala Lumpur Showcase

2AM was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last week for the DiGiLive K-Pop 2AM Showcase.Soompi was invited to attend the press conference that was held in the KL Hilton Hotel on May 19. They spent four days in Kuala Lumpur.

The press conference started at 4.30 pm with many media representatives eager to meet the group. Along with them were also lucky fans that won passes to attend the press conference

The boys were in semi-casual mix and match white and black outfit. They were introduced by the emcee and then talked about their experiences from the day before with Malaysian local food and craft.

At the showcase, they were set to promote their latest album, Saint O’Clock, with the songs “Even If I Die, I Can’t Let You Go”, “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls” and “Like Crazy”.

People were impressed that the 2AM Saint O’Clock Special Edition album design was different from the Korean version. 2AM members said that they were glad to visit for a second time and they couldn’t wait to show their fans different sides of themselves for the showcase.

During the Q&A session they were asked how their recent album felt different from their debut. They replied that the current album shows the true side of 2AM.

The next question was on Jo Kwon if he would ever consider dating his virtual reality wife Ga In from the hit variety show We Got Married. He replied that he thanked the fans for their love towards the couple but said that will unlikely happen in real life. He and Ga In are now more like close friends since they are also acting together as twins in the sitcom All My Love. He also hoped that fans would show support for his sitcom.

The group had a packed schedule in Malaysia, going with the usual rounds of interviews. An exclusive autograph session was also held later on Friday. With their huge popularity in Malaysia, all the passes for their exclusive backstage Meet & Greet and interaction session were snapped up immediately by fans upon the news of their visit.
