“Poseidon” Stops Production

Due to numerous setbacks and several actors resigning, the production team of “Poseidon” has decided to completely cease production.

A representative of the drama’s production company, H2O, stated recently that, “Production has been suspended completely.”

The drama started filming last year, but due to the attack on Yeon Pyeong island last year, filming was unable to continue in 2011. In addition, “Poseidon” had not signed to any major network yet at the time, even with rumors that the production was in talks with SBS. It was due to these circumstances that lead actors Kim Kang Woo, Kim Ok Bin, and Eric abandoned their roles.

“Poseidon”, a drama centered around a special marine police force, was set to star Eric, Kim Kang Woo, Kim Ok Bin, DBSK’s U-Know Yunho and Jeon Hye Bin. Eric has now been cast for KBS2’s upcoming drama “Spy Myeongwol”.
