Kang Ji Hwan's Romantic Forehead Kiss and Luxurious Event for Yoon Eun Hye!

Kang Ji Hwan and Yoon Eun Hye’s relationship heated up as the two shared a tearful forehead kiss on yesterday’s episode of SBS’s “Lie to Me.” Hyun Ki Joon (Kang Ji Hwan) and Gong Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye) finally called off their fake marriage and confirmed their love for each other.

Ki Joon helped out Ah Jung, who came to Jeju island for a business trip, so that she could successfully finish her work. During this process, they realized their true feelings for each other and ended their fake marriage contract. And the scene was followed by Ki Joon’s romantic propose event.

Ah Jung appeared to the place that Ki Joon was waiting, dressed in the beautiful off-shoulder dress that he gave her as a present. As she walked down the flower pedaled walkway, he gazed blissfully at her from the other end, dressed in a white tuxedo. The two enjoyed a lovely romantic dinner together and Ah Jung apologized to him for getting him into trouble by lying to him about the marriage. 

Ki Joon, who had agreed with the fake marriage due to business matters, also confessed “I also feel very ashamed for taking advantage of you for my business.” Ah Jung responded, “I could sense your true feelings when you tore apart our contract.” Shortly after, Ki Joon expressed his affection for Ah Jung as he gave a forehead kiss to Ah Jung. While their previous ‘coke kiss’ was passionate, their ‘forehead kiss’ reflected their affectionate yet cautious feelings toward each other as they start a fresh relationship together.

Ki Joon stated, “Then shall we forget about everything that happened in the past and start all fresh again?” and then kissed Ah Jung in the lips! Ah Jung replied “Let’s take things slow,” and Ki Joon promosed “I’ll love you sincerely so that you can become confident about me,” bringing tears to her eyes.

Viewers who saw Ki Joon’s propose scene supported their love, commenting “My heart is fluttering,” “Will we be able to see Ki Joon and Ah Jung fall in love at last,” “I’m worried about how Yoon Joo will react.”

However, the episode ended with the last scene where Yoon Joo (Jo Yoon Hee) sheds tears and becomes furious after spotting Ki Joon and Ah Jung’s kiss. It will be interesting to see whether Yoon Joo will fire back and give the two a hard time or she will finally get over her obsession.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “Lie to Me” received viewer ratings of 10.0% yesterday, according to statistics by AGB Nielsen Media Research. Meanwhile, MBC’s “Miss Ripley” and KBS’s “Baby-Faced Beauty” which are aired during the same time slot received 12.1% and 15.2%, respectively.
