Hey New Yorkers! Want Soompi to Send You to the New York Asian Film Festival?
Hello New Yorkers! The New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF 2011) is “one of the city’s most valuable events” (The New York Times) and a “crazed, capricious, super-freaky mega-mix of art house and grindhouse” (The Village Voice). NYAFF wants Soompiers to check out the entire line-up, including the crazy Korean action-adventure movie “Troubleshooter”, starring Sol Kyung Gu, Lee Jung Jin, Oh Dal Soo, Moon Jung Hee, Joo Jin Mo, and Lee Sung Min. To help you out, NYAFF and Soompi are giving away two pairs of tickets to see “Troubleshooter” on Tuesday, July 12 at 2:30 PM, or Thursday, July 14 at 6:15 PM! And here’s a major bonus — director Kwok Hyeok Jae and producer Ryu Seung Wan will appear at both screenings! You can enter using Facebook and/or Twitter by doing either or both of the following:
– On Facebook, share this news article by clicking the “Share This” link located at the bottom of the article.
– On Twitter, tweet the following message: I want @soompi to send me to see Troubleshooter at #NYAFF2011! http://bit.ly/kfstou
On Monday, June 27, we will randomly select two winners. In order to be eligible to win, you must have a valid Soompi account and subscribe to our Facebook and/or Twitter account.
Even if you don’t win, definitely try to attend the festival — there are Japanese samurai movies, Chinese drama movies, Malaysian reality-show movies, (more) Korean action movies, and much, much more. Check out the complete line-up at Subway Cinema News. NYAFF 2011 runs from Friday, July 1, to Thursday, July 14.
Now check out the “Troubleshooter” trailer — it looks awesome!
