Fashion Closet: Lee Da Hae’s Dazzling Wardrobe in “Miss Ripley”

 Fashion Closet is our new fashion series where we provide an insider’s guide into the fashion styles of the stars. We will cover the information regarding different fashion items sported by selected stars. For this week’s article, we’ve chosen to feature some of Lee Da Hae’s stylish and chic dresses featured in “Miss Ripley.” 

In “Miss Ripley,” Lee Da Hae plays a character named Jang Mi Ri, who is full of distrust toward others and the world due to her deep wounds from being abandoned by her parents at a young age. After being adopted to Japan and leading a miserable life there, she escapes to Korea to survive. After many complications, she ends up working as a maid at one of Korea’s best hotels and starts to take advantage of two men, who are known to be the No.1 in each of their field of hotel and resort. She starts off a fake life by lying that she graduated from University of Tokyo and then continues to do whatever it takes to seize an opportunities that would lead her to success. 

In the third episode, she sported an ivory lace mini-dress from st.a ($250). The intricate lace details in this dress present a very feminine and elegant look, while the slim-fit design makes you look slimmer and sexier by accentuating the body curvatures.

Lee Da Hae enjoys shopping at a department store in the fourth episode. She tries on several different dresses in the shopping scene and we would like to introduce three of them. She first tried on a dazzling pink off-shoulder dress.

This stylish and sexy dress from UJU at Bridge11 ($200) was also worn by Hyun Young during her “Strong Heart” guest appearance.

She was also spotted in a beautiful white Moschino Cheap & Chic Coral Poplin Strapless Dress ($595) with vibrant coral print.

Lee Da Hae also featured a shoulder beading dress from The Izzat Collection. This isn’t the first time that this dressy and elegant dress was spotted on a female star. In fact, the list of female celebrities who wore this dress is quite extensive: Park Soo Jin, Park Sung Young, Lee Si Young, Yoo In Na.

In the sixth episode, Lee Da Hae sported a vivid strip dress from Sisley ($260). This dress, which comes in both green and orange, is a great sunny dress to style with a short jacket or a cardigan.

She also appeared in beige belted knit dress from Mango ($37) in the same episode. This feminine slim-fit v-neck dress, made of comfortable material, can be either styled in a casual or formal way due to the fabric belt that comes with the dress.

In the Jeju Island date scene, she was spotted in a white Marc by Marc Jacobs Amelie Flower Dress ($398). This beautiful and feminine lightweight cotton dress, which features floral graphic and ruffle-trim shoulders, is the perfect spring flower dress.

In the seventh episode, the beautiful actress sported a chic and elegant cape trench dress from McGINN KNIGHTSBRIDGE ($400). This trench coat inspired cape-style dress comes with a belt and detachable cape.

Lastly, Lee Da Hae appeared in a blue JILL BY JILL STUART dress ($350) in the eighth episode. This classic and feminine style dress with a lovely flower lace round collar would be a perfect for a romantic date. Along with blue, it also comes in beige.
