2NE1’s Final Audio Teaser for “I Am The Best” Out but MV Release Delayed

The fourth and final audio teaser for 2NE1’s upcoming single, “I Am The Best,” has been released today through their official YouTube channel. As heard from previous teasers, the 40-second teaser involves heavy synthesizer sounds and club beats, with CL’s repetitive “I’m the best” line. The additional 10-seconds released today did not offer much new stuff, but you could easily sense the confidence and swagger these girls are about to bring with this new single.

The full track of “I Am The Best” is set for release tonight at midnight. 2NE1 said their first TV appearance would be on SBS “Inkigayo” on June 26^th as they expect to do a lot more TV promotions for this single, marking their full return to TV in nine months. However, unlike other “comeback stages,” 2NE1 indicated they would only have one performance on this week’s “Inkigayo” since they think it’s more important to just focus on one, complete performance.

Also, YG Entertainment said today that the release of 2NE1’s new music video for “I Am The Best” would be delayed two to three more days. They’re spending twice the money and resources to produce it, and it’s taking much longer than expected to put together the final product, YGE said.
