“Heartstrings”: Jung Yong Hwa Sways Park Shin Hye to Audition
The third episode of “Heartstrings” received disappointing viewer ratings of 6.6%, a slight dip of 0.2% from last Thursday’s episode, according to statistics by AGB Nielsen Media Research. SBS’s “City Hunter” continued to take the lead with 18.7%, while KBS’s “Romance Town” received 11.2%.
On Wednesday’s episode of MBC’s “Heartstrings,” the professors and students at the performing arts university were busy preparing for a concert in celebration of the institution’s 100th anniversary. Seuk Hyun (Song Chang Ui), the head director in charge of the entire performance, suggested to Lee Shin (Jung Yong Hwa) and Lee Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye) to attend the audition. Both replied that they were uninterested.
However, Gyu Won changed her mind upon hearing Lee Shin’s words. Lee Shin told her “I want to listen to your gayageum performance again.”
Gyu Won, who came back home, started practicing gayageum while recalling Lee Shin’s words. The next day, Gyu Won announced to her friends that she will participate in the audition.
