4minute's Nam Ji Hyun to Appear in MBC's Upcoming Weekend Drama

4minute’s Nam Ji Hyun will be showing off her acting skills once again! She has been recently casted in MBC’s upcoming weekend drama “1000 Kisses,” the follow-up of “Sparkling,” which is scheduled to be aired in mid-August. This is her second time acting, since her last drama appearance in SBS’s “It’s Okay Daddy’s Daughter.”

In “1000 Kisses,” Nam Ji Hyun will be playing the role of Jang Soo Ah, the younger sister of the male lead Jang Woo Jin (played by Ryu Jin). It looks like she will be in the spotlight by playing the lighthearted and bubbly character which will brighten up the heavy and awkward household atmosphere. A drama representative stated “While Nam Ji Hyun received favorable reviews for her solid performance in ‘It’s Okay Daddy’s Daughter,’ it was too bad that she didn’t get enough exposure. This time, it’s a 50 episode drama series, so she will certainly be able to make herself known to the drama viewers.”

Along with Nam Ji Hyun, “1000 Kisses” will star Seo Young Hee, Ji Hyun Woo, Kim Soo Eun, and Ryu Jin.
