WOWWWZAAAA. Haha now that City Hunter is coming to a close, (*SOB*) so many things are happening all at once. After this particular episode my head was spinning. Bajeezus action/romance/thrill all wrapped up in one. Now I am REALLY looking forward to the last two episodes, I wonder how everything is going to turn out! Anyways, on with the recap!

[Recap] City Hunter Episode 18

Father and son take out all of the baddies, but Target Number Four’s bodyguard/assassin finds out that Yoon Sung is City Hunter.

The bodyguard/assassin is trying to get in touch of Target Number Four, but he can’t so he decides that he needs to do something first.

Ki Joon and Nana’s partner are suspicious about what’s going on with Yoon Sung. (He’s supposed to be weak, but he took out YJ easily last episode.) Nana tries to convince them that it’s because of her teaching.

Ruh Oh, Nana is at home and kidnapped by Target Number Four’s bodyguard/assassin.

Yoon Sung and the ex-officer are at the hospital for JP. Yoon Sung receives a call from the bodyguard/assassin.

Yoon Sung, “If you do anything to Nana, I will kill you.”

Yoon Sung rushes to the aquarium that has Nana.

The bodyguard/assassin tells Yoon Sung to put on handcuffs or he’ll drop Nana into the water.

The bodyguard/assassin begins to beat up Yoon Sung, Yoon Sung fights back, and Nana is dropped in the water!

Yoon Sung tells Nana to go to the hospital.

Nana says, “How could you not know me? Just because you don’t answer do you think I won’t wait? I am going to wait for you my whole life.” Yoon Sung, “Do you want to keep giving me a hard time?” Nana, “Let’s go at it together, I won’t leave you lonely anymore. I don’t think it can be anyone other than you.” Yoon Sung, “Just a little… wait just a little bit, I see the end.”

Nana is alone at home crying as she reminsciences about Yoon Sung. Nana, “I’m going to wait, he said that he is going to come back. He said he would come back after it is over.”

Yoon Sung is driving, he says “Please wait a bit, I will return to you alive.”

The bodyguard/assassin is now tied up and inside Yoon Sung’s basement.

Yoon Sung receives the call for the bodyguard/assassin. Target Number Four says to just kill the bodyguard/assassin he doesn’t need somebody who got caught, and it would be better for him if the henchman was dead.

YJ is at the hospital and he wants to talk to the leukemia patient. The leukemia patient decided to renege on her contract. She has to leave the hospital room. YJ asks her to tell him if she ever needs assistance.

The son gives YJ a coin and asks that it be given to the City Hunter if YJ ever sees him.

YJ asks his supervisor to give a warrant, but the supervisor gives him scolding/support telling him to work around the law and also to keep an ace in the hole. YJ does not want to lose to the City Hunter, and wants to help the worker receive the status of industrial accidents.

Da Hae tells Nana’s partner that she wants to move to a café near YJ, while she is shopping.

The ex-officer convinces JP to rest and bide his time. But, JP does not answer questions about the identity of Target Number Five.

Target Number Four is furious at his office, as his company is now going through preliminary bankruptcy. He asks his secretary to reserve a plane ticket for LA.

Back at the Blue House, everyone is curiuos about Yoon Sung and asks him questions. Yoon Sung diffuses the situation for his own supervisor, Ki Joon, and Nana’s partner.

However, Nana’s supervisor warns Yoon Sung and reveals that he is suspicious.

JP is meeting people that have some ties with Target Number Four’s company. (Senators, bankers, and prosecutors.)

Target Number Four ends up getting down on his knees asking to be saved by JP, offering to give secret documents.

Yoon Sung is out fishing with the president. The president says that he wanted to take his son fishing, but he is in the military service and is thankful that Yoon Sung is with him now.

The president receives a call from Target Number Four. However, the president refuses to provide help.

Yoon Sung is out to get a drink and is walking with Nana. Yoon Sung tells her to go first.

When Yoon Sung returns, Nana’s supervisor points a gun at Yoon Sung because he couldn’t hear Yoon Sung’s footsteps. (Pretty cool, Yoon Sung is a ninja!)

We learn that Target Number Four’s company went bankrupt. (Yoon Sung is probably planning something to help out the workers.)

YJ also hears the news and commands that Target Number Four be restricted from leaving the country. YJ knows that JP won’t do anything for the workers, so he decides to go to the City Hunter.

YJ is talking to Yoon Sung in front of Yoon Sung’s apartment. YJ tells Yoon Sung that he is worried about the workers. YJ gives the coin to Yoon Sung, saying that he will try to help with the law. Yoon Sung replies, “I need to go, my lover is waiting.”

Yoon Sung goes to Target Number Four as a fund manager from LA. Yoon Sung tells Target Number Four that he wants to buyout the chemical part of the company. Yoon Sung is offering to protect the company buying the company with 10 cents.

Target Number Four ends up giving up company stock and gives it to the employees. (City Hunter saves the day again!)

The prosecutors could not stop Target Number Four from escaping the country. However, YJ receives a call from Yoon Sung to appear at the prosecutor’s office at 4pm.

Yoon Sung meets up with Target Number Four and his bodyguards in the elevator and beats them up.

It seems like Yoon Sung also put Target Number Four to sleep.

In front of the prosecutor’s office Swat teams are ready. People with masks arrive in front of the prosecutor’s office. These people came because of a message online from the City Hunter.

YJ is furious and tells the SWAT team to take in all of the people in masks. Within a short distance the reporters and the SWAT team find an unconscious Target Number Four.

YJ is having a race off with Yoon Sung, but he has a gun.

YJ puts a hole into Yoon Sung’s tire. Yoon Sung is forced to get out, it ends up that YJ is pointing a gun at Yoon Sung, when Yoon Sung takes the gun away and points it back at YJ.
