2NE1 Releases Teaser Audio for “Ugly”
Fans were given a sneak peek of 2NE1’s upcoming single, “Ugly,” at the end of “2NE1tv’s” latest episode yesterday.
The song’s lyrics go: “I wanna be pretty, I wanna be pretty. Don’t lie to my face, telling me I’m pretty. I think I’m ugly and nobody wants to love me. Just like her, I wanna be pretty. I wanna be pretty. Don’t lie to my face ‘cause I know I’m ugly.”
It sounds like the strong beats are in line with 2NE1’s original style, but the scornful lyrics are definitely something unexpected. The song is set for release at midnight on July 28th.
