Who Wore It Best: Red Satin Minidress Edition

In this edition of “Who Wore It Best,” we’re covering the red-hot satin minidress by local designer Jia Kim!  One look at this dress and you can see why all the celebrities have been snapping it up: the fire engine red satin is sure to stand out in any photoshoot or party, while the oversized bow gives a dose of cuteness to the almost-too-sexy fit and length.  To us, the color, material, and big bow render it most suitable for the holidays (don’t you think?), but it’s been worn year-round by all the hottest actresses and singers! 

All the photos in this article come from jiakim’s website, which explains these watermarks.  While other designers may give their creations fanciful or descriptive names, Jia Kim prosaically labeled this dress as “740612.”  Don’t worry, we won’t be using this code for the article.  (“Here’s Lee Da Hae looking super sexy in 740612!”)  Anyway, let’s check it out.

Lee Da Hae paired the dress with colorful bangles and delicate strappy stilettos.  She wore matching lipstick and wisely kept the rest of her makeup minimal.

In this photoshoot, Han Ye Seul kept the hair and makeup casual and paired the dress with silver pumps. 

Jeon Hye Bin’s styling may read low-key, but her pose and expression are always seductive!

SNSD’s Jessica wore the dress for the MV of Super Junior-M’s “Super Girl.”  On Jessica, the dress looks cute and classy!  She paired it with a cuff bracelet and gold heels.

Kim So Yeon made the dress look more casual by putting the bow on the back and pairing it with an everyday hairstyle and nude heels.

The red color really pops against Lim Joo Eun’s pale skin!

Park Soo Jin wore this in a recent drama and looked super sexy!  (Is it the dress or the dance moves?)

Park Ha Seon modified the dress with the bow at the bodice, and paired it with clunky nude peeptoes.  Is the modification an improvement?

Joanne was the only girl to pair the dress with red shoes.  Is it well-coordinated or too matchy-matchy?
