Actor Joo Ji Hoon will waste no time in coming back to the scene once he is discharged from the military in November. His first official public event as a civilian is a fan meeting scheduled for November 27, according to his management, Key East Entertainment, as reported by local media.
The actor has been in mandatory military service since February 2010 and is assigned to the reserved corps. While serving as a reservist, he has had the opportunity to star, along with fellow actor and soldier Lee Jun Ki in “Voyage of Life,” a musical production of the Ministry of National Defense in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. His work in the production won for him the most popular musical actor in the 5th Daegu Musical Awards.
Aside from “Voyage of Life,” Joo Ji Hoon had also played the title character in the 2009 musical “Don Juan.” Prior to his military enlistment, the actor has also worked in film and TV, and was also a model.
