CJ Entertainment Inks a Deal with Netflix in the US

CJ E&M is making its mark in the USA!

After numerous movies have been released on North American soil (“Sunny,” “Quick,” and “War Of the Arrows” just to name a few), CJ Entertainment has now signed an exclusive deal to release Korean (as well as other Asian) movie titles through Netflix. The month of October is the starting point for one of Korea’s largest media companies to join forces with the Internet’s number one source for movie and TV show rentals. Avid movie lovers will now be able to enjoy twenty of CJ Entertainment’s hottest blockbuster hits on their computers, tablets, key gaming consoles and moble phones.

In an official press release, CJ E&M America’s CEO, Joon Choi, expressed his excitement to release Asian movie titles through the popular rental service. A Vice President at Netflix, Lisa Nishimura, shared her own joy to work with CJ. She assured members of the press that Netflix’s new deal with the company further expands their efforts to have high quality content available from around the world.

The following are just some of the titles that are currently ready to rent: Moss, The King And The Clown, Arahan, Castway On The Moon, Fish Story, Going By The Book, Good Morning President, Harmony, I’m A Cyborg But That’s Ok, Killer Bride’s Perfect Crime, Love In Between, Murder Take One, No Mercy, The Unjust and The Servant.
