Big Bang's Taeyang and 2NE1 to Appear on Japan's "Girls Award"

Big Bang’s Taeyang and 2NE1 will appear on Japan’s largest fashion awards. They were invited to the “Girls Award 2011 (Autumn / Winter)” which will be held on November 12. The event is a large fashion and music event where influential stars that are performing in Japan.

Girls Award announced the fact that the Korean celebrities would be attending the event and also wrote, “The theme for this season is ‘Adventure.’ The event will be an adventure made up of fashion and music.”

In 2009 JYJ’s Junsu attended the event. In 2010 SNSD and 4minute attended the event. Each year Girls Award is inviting influential Korean Wave stars.

2NE1 had released the Japanese debut album “NOLZA” on September 21 and sold 26,000 albums in its first week.
