Lee Min Jung Admires Lee Hyori and Gets Cranky when She’s...

At the press conference for her latest movie, “Wonderful Radio,” actress Lee Min Jung told reporters that she looked up to old-school girl groups like S.E.S. and Fin.K.L. to help her get into her latest character, Shin Jin Ah. In the romantic comedy, Shin Jin Ah is a washed-up idol singer who turns into a radio DJ.

Lee Min Jung stated, “The director told me to think of the first generation idol stars like S.E.S. and Fin.K.L for my role. So I thought of some of my personal favorites.” She added, “ I really like Hyori unnie”

Co-star Lee Kwang Soo also shared a secret about the actress, stating that she, like many other beautiful girls, “gets cranky and sensitive when she’s hungry.” He added, “But she’s also one of the most easygoing and honest actresses I know.” To this, Lee Min Jung commented, “He bought me a lot of hamburgers throughout filming, and I had always wondered why. I guess this was the reason behind it,” causing those at the press conference to burst out in laughter.

In addition to Lee Min Jung, the movie also stars Lee Jung Jin and Lee Kwang Soo, who play radio producer/Jin Ah’s love interest Lee Jae Hyuk and her manager Cha Dae Geun respectively. The plot revolves around Jin Ah and Jae Hyuk as they bicker and work together to revive their radio show that is on the verge of getting canceled.

“Wonderful Radio” will premiere in theaters nationwide this coming January.
