Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae Lived Together Before Marriage

Hip-hop and real-life married couple Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae (T) revealed their love story on KBS talk show “Win Win.” Tiger JK’s disclosure that he and Yoon Mi Rae were already living together before they got married aroused a lot of curiosity and interest from viewers.

“There were times when I only made 150,000 won (around $130 USD) a day. The taxi fare going to her house is normally only $20 but because I didn’t know how to find her house in Uijeongbu, I spent so much more on the fare,” Tiger JK confessed. “When I got to Uijeongbu, I can only call her from a pay phone. It would be late. It was hard to see her because her mother watched her. I tried sneaking in through the pets’ door, but it was too small so I failed,” he said laughing.

Yoon Mi Rae then continued, “My mother saw that he put in a lot of effort to see me, and that helped win her approval. She also saw that it was difficult for him to live alone, so she invited him to live together with us. The three of us were in the same house before he and I got married.”
