“The Moon that Embraces the Sun’s” Staff Apologize for Missing Kiss Scene
On February 23, fans of the popular series “The Moon that Embraces the Sun,” starring Kim Soo Hyun, Han Ga In, and Jung Il Woo, were delighted when they saw the preview for the 16th episode as they were teased with a long-awaited kiss scene between main leads Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ga In. However, much to everyone’s disappointment, the scene did not air in last night’s episode.
Assistant director Park Ji Hyun, who’s in charge of editing the previews, stated, “We try our best to make the previews a little more intriguing, prettier, and fuller by the day. However, we feel they’re unsatisfactory, and we’re deeply sorry for that. However, thank you for always supporting us. We’re grateful that people watch our previews and look forward to the episode.” He added, “But the scene from the preview where Hwon leans in for a kiss during the actual broadcast was missing, wasn’t it? Each episode can’t exceed the allotted running time, so you’ll have to see that scene next week.” Park Ji Hyun continued to apologize fervently for disappointing fans, but promised that the scene will air next week.
Meanwhile, “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” finally surpassed the 40% barrier with the sixteenth episode, recording 41.3% (AGB Nielsen). SBS’s “Take Care of Us, Captain” recorded 5.8%, and KBS’s “Wild Romance” ended its run with in 5.4%.
