BIGBANG T.O.P.'s 180 Degree Personality Change on Running Man
Did Lee Kwang Soo and BIGBANG‘s T.O.P. switch personalities?
On the March 4 episode of SBS‘ variety program “Running Man,” BIGBANG’s member T.O.P. revealed a completely different image from the one we are used to seeing.
Previously, T.O.P. showed off his strong acting and the charismatic side as a cold hitman when he filmed KBS 2TV‘s action drama “IRIS” in 2009.
The image he built throughout the years on stage as a fierce performer and also on screen as an actor overflowing with charisma was quickly forgotten as soon as T.O.P. stepped on “Running Man”.
Member Taeyang revealed T.O.P.’s transformation, “Viewers know T.O.P. from what they see on screen but the T.O.P. you know from BIGBANG and the one appearing on “Running Man” are two different people, he is the Kwang Soo hyung of BIGBANG.” He then added,”He isn’t cruel and cold, if I had to describe him in a word, it would be “Soondong Ee” meaning gentle and soft. He is also friendly and clumsy.”
T.O.P. also commented, “My character in ‘IRIS’ and my personality in real life are very different. Although my character in the drama is heartless and scary, I’m a very gentle person.”
A representative of “Running Man” revealed, “T.O.P. surprised everyone because he constantly smiled and laughed during the filming which was completely different from the cold and serious image people have of him.”
