Kim Soo Hyun Praised for Singing "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" OST

Actor Kim Soo Hyun is making waves again this time not as an actor, but as a singer.

Popular for his current role as King Hwon on the MBC drama “The Moon that Embraces the Sun,” Kim Soo Hyun recently recorded an OST song for the drama’s soundtrack. His performance at the recording studio created a round of applause from the staff.

A representative from “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” said through an exclusive telephone call with Sports Korea on March 12, “Because of his past singing performances on Dream High,’ we predicted he’d be good for the song. It took a while for us to persuade him to do this recording, so we were a little nervous at the studio. But he did not disappoint us. His singing was performed perfectly without any major problems. We were all surprised.”

The song, titled “Only One Person,” wraps up the story of the Joseon Dynasty’s Lee Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun) as he reunites with his queen Yeon Woo. (Han Ga In) It describes the many feelings he experiences. As of now, it is difficult to tell whether or not we will actually hear the song in the drama. PD Kim Do Hoon will reveal whether or not the song will be played in the drama on March 13, when all filming has ended.

“Only One Person” will be uploaded onto various music sites on March 13, so be sure to check out Kim Soo Hyun’s soothing vocals. Is there anything this guy can’t do?
