CNBlue on Conflicts Over Musical Differences with Agency on Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook

CNBlue‘s vocalist Jung Yong Hwa opened up about an incident he had with the agency regarding their musical preferences. On the most recent episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” Yoo Hee Yeol asked CNBlue, “I understand that as a band, you’d prefer doing something with more impact in terms of music. But you got the agency, too. They would want to do something more popular and suitable for the public. What’s your opinion on that?”

Jung Yong Hwa answered, “We were expecting and hoping for some kind of change, but the agency wanted to go with our original style. I was upset.” However, the agency and Jung Yong Hwa successfully dealt with the mini-conflict. Jung Yong Hwa explained, “The CEO knew that I was upset, so he treated me to a very expensive Korean beef ribeye.”

Later, he returned to the band from his secret rendezvous with the CEO and encouraged his members to “do our best in the given situation.” His confession made everyone in the audience as well as fellow CNBlue members burst out into laughter.
