Girls Generation Sooyoung Participates in Script Reading for New Drama

As previously reported, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung has been cast in upcoming tvN series “The Third Hospital” alongside Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, and Kim Min Jung. On April 9, Taewon Entertainment, the company producing the drama, belatedly released photos of the script reading session, which was held on March 14. Main and supporting actors Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, Kim Min Jung, Choi Soo Young, Park Geun Hyung, Im Ha Rong, Im Hyung Joon, and Yoo Tae Woong attended the reading.

“The Third Hospital” will detail the lives of neurologists at the Dae Ahn Hospital, a unique hospital that practices both oriental and Western (modern) medicine techniques. Kim Seung Woo will play Doo Hwan, the cold-hearted, objective doctor who puts his trust on modern medicine; while Oh Ji Ho will play Seung Hyun, the kind-hearted doctor who practices oriental medicine. Kim Min Jung will play Hye In, a resident physician at the neurosurgery department at the Dae Ahn Hospital. Soo Young will take on the role of Yi Jin, a lovely violist, completing the love square relationship

“The Third Hospital” will begin filming in April and aim to premiere late July.
