"Invincible Youth 2" Criticized for Severity of Punishments

In this week’s KBS 2TV “Invincible Youth 2,” CN Blue‘s Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jung Shin appeared as guests.

That day the entire cast played pot (jangdokdae) bokbulbok game. They had to get sauces that will go into crab soup, but some of the pots that didn’t have any sauces inside, instead, had punishments waiting for those who selected those pots.

While the cast feared what punishment they might get, Lee Jung Shin got a penalty. A staff that was hiding hit his head with a gourd. Kim Shin Young sprayed water on the faces of Jung Yong Hwa and Hyoyeon, and Sunny got her hair sprayed with chili powder.

Bora got her hair stuck with salt and Lee Jung Shin got sprayed with water again. The game was supposed to be just for fun, but those punishment scenes could give audience discomfort.

Spraying water, chili powder, and salt as punishments made those who watched it uncomfortable, and Lee Jung Shin joked, “I think ‘Invincible Youth 2’ and CNBlue don’t get along well.”
