Gong Yoo to Star in Crime Thriller "Suspect?"

Earlier today, there were several rumors that Gong Yoo would be starring in the movie “Suspect.” According to his management agency, the actor is looking into the project favorably, however, nothing has been determined. A representative of Soop Entertainment stated, “Gong Yoo is currently busy focusing on ‘Big.’ As such, we have not yet discussed the details with him.

The crime thriller film “Suspect” is about a North Korean defector who becomes the main suspect in a murder case. He sets out to catch the real murderer and clear his name.

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo currently stars in KBS romantic comedy “Big,” co-starring Lee Min Jung, where he plays an 18-year-old delinquent trapped in a 30-year-old man’s body. The drama marks Gong Yoo’s first since his discharge from the military in 2009.
