4Minute's Nam Ji Hyun to Appear on "The Third Hospital"

4Minute member Nam Ji Hyun is set to appear on the new drama “The Third Hospital.” According to reports in local news agencies, the girl group member recently shot for a guest spot on the tvN drama, playing a patient.

Reports also said that Nam Ji Hyun plays a character close to her real-life role, a singer. The character is said to have experienced a sickness onstage that required her to seek treatment for the unidentified disease.

“The Third Hospital” is set in the neurosurgery department of a hospital. Kim Seung Woo stars as Doo Hyun, a genius neurosurgeon and Oh Ji Ho as Seung Hyun, an equally talented Oriental medicine doctor. Kim Min Jung is also part of the cast as Hye In. Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, in her first major role in a drama rounds out the leads of “The Third Hospital,” as a violinist in love with Oh Ji Ho’s character.

“The Third Hospital” is scheduled to premiere on September 5.
