Girls' Generation's Stamps Are Selling like Hotcakes
As previously reported, The Korea Post has printed Girls’ Generation stamps to commemorate the group’s 5th year anniversary. The stamps went on sale this morning, August 9, and have been selling like hotcakes. Within an hour since its release, the Seoul Central Post Office has sold more than half its prepared stock. The Girls’ Generation stamps contain autographed individual images from their third album, “The Boys,” and jacket images from past albums like “Gee” and “Oh,” for a total of 14 stamps.
The Girls’ Generation stamp is the first official celebrity stamp issued by The Korea Post. With Hallyu making strides worldwide, The Korea Post decided to produce stamps featuring Girls Generation, one of the leading groups in the K-Pop movement.
