Just moments ago, YG Entertainment revealed a freestyle video of Jennie Kim, the 16-year old rapper/singer who is set to debut under YGE’s new girl group.

In this sensational 58-second clip, Jennie Kim gives a stunning freestyle rap performance, bringing memories of a young CL before she made her debut under 2NE1. This is the first official video of Jennie Kim, who’s raised in the Netherlands and is fluent in Korean, Japanese and English.

Her fierce rap style is in stark contrast to the “girl-next-door image” she showed in her first teaser image. The video was released just a day after it was reported that Jennie Kim would be appearing on G-Dragon’s upcoming music video for “That XX,” increasing anticipation for her grand debut.
