"Strong Heart" MCs Lee Dong Wook and Shin Dong Yup Put the Sex in Show in "Vogue" Photo Spread

A photo spread featuring “Strong Heart” MCs Lee Dong Wook and Shin Dong Yup in fashion magazine “Vogue” has been publicized. 

In this photo spread, the concept of the shoot was “gentlemen love dolls” and to give life to the concept, the men posed in various suggestively sexual poses with a doll. 

In the accompanying interview, Shin Dong Yup said, “If you are a living being, there is no way to throw away one’s desire.”  Lee Dong Wook added, “Even though on the inside everyone has sensual thoughts, while breathing in a restricted way, it seems like everyone is living in a restricted way.”   

Fine-looking actor Lee Dong Wook and funny man Shin Dong Yup took over MC duties of telling jokes, making insightful comments, and making guests feel comfortable while sharing their stories for the viewers on the SBS variety talk show “Strong Heart” in April 2012. 

One of the nation’s two best-loved hosts Kang Ho Dong (the other, of course, being the one and only Yoo Jae Suk) was pressured to step down and retire from the entertainment industry upon news breaking of his unpaid back taxes and the National Tax Service’s investigation into the matter.  Entertainment extraordinaire golden boy Lee Seung Gi continued the show as a solo MC before deciding to step down in March 2012 so as to focus on his singing career. 

Now, enough time has passed that when viewers think of SBS’s “Strong Heart,” they no longer think of the smiling Kang Ho Dong and suave Lee Seung Gi but instead of Lee Dong Wook and Shin Dong Yup.
