Super Junior's Eunhyuk Proves Friendship with BoA Through Text

On September 12, four Super Junior members Siwon, Leeteuk, Shindong and Eunhyuk were guests on “Radio Star.” Super Junior’s Eunhyuk showed off his close friendship with fellow labelmate BoA. Eunhyuk explained that though he and BoA were the same age, things were still awkward at first.

In the past, Eunhyuk had a chance to get closer to BoA. He shared, “When BoA was promoting her 5th album, we were preparing to debut as Super Junior. When BoA was promoting ‘Girls On Top,’ I was given the chance to rap though I was a trainee.”

“We practiced together for about a month but later on, it was decided that the rap wasn’t necessary and I just filled in as a dancer. I practiced the rap a lot but the entire rap part was gone,” he reminisced.

Even after Super Junior debuted, Eunhyuk explained, “We are the same age but because she was my senior in the industry, it was hard to approach her. We finally became close through her new track, ‘Only One’ by becoming dance partners. At first I called her ‘senior BoA’ but not anymore.”

Then MC Yoon Jong Shin asked Eunhyuk to call BoA right on the spot. Then MC Yoo Sae Yoon answered, “Since it’s late, you should text her instead.”

Eunhyuk texted, “Are you sleeping?” Then BoA immediately answered, “I’m laying down but what’s up?” Then Eunhyuk sent, “You’re sleeping already?”

But BoA seemed to catch on that something was going on and she sent,  “Something feels weird – what are you scheming? Eunhyuk and I are not close!” Her wit and humor sent the whole studio up in laughter.
