The 49th Grand Bell Awards were held on October 30 where some of the top actors and actresses gathered together to celebrate the Korean film industry. The MCs of the night’s dazzling event were Shin Hyun Joon and Kim Jung Eun.

Lee Byung Hun could not attend the event but won the coveted Best Lead Actor Award for his wildly successful film, “Masquerade” (or “Gwang Hae“). Other nominees in this category were Choi Min Shik (“Nameless Gangster“), Kim Myung Min (“Pacemaker“), and Ahn Sung Ki (“Unbowed“).

Jo Min Soo won Best Lead Actress for “Pieta” among the other nominess such as Kim Go Eun (“Eun Gyo“), Uhm Jung Hwa (“Dancing Queen“) and Lim Soo Jung (“All About My Wife“).
