What Do

The answer is, UK PEOPLE LOVE EM!

What pop songs do people in the UK listen to? It looks like it is PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” “The Official Charts Company” on January 14 announced it through their main website. The website stated, “Pop is still the UK’s favorite genre of music.”

“The Official Charts Company” stated, “After we researched on what British people like to listen to, we found that because of Carly Rae Jepsen, PSY, Emily Sande, and One Direction pop has continued to dominate the UK music scene for two years.”

According to “The Official Charts Company” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and PSY’s “Gangnam Style” made up 38.5% of the UK singles market. “The Official Charts Company” also stated, “Despite the strong showing by pop, rock tracks sold the most. Rock music made up 20% of the market.” In related news, PSY’s Gangnam Style reached #1 on the singles chart for “The Official Charts Company” on October 1, 2012. He is the first Korean to accomplish this amazing feat.

Now There’s a reason why Star Wars is put up on the title. FEAST YOUR EYES ON THE GLORY! (The two songs are parodied and flash mobbed which also increased each respective song’s popularity)
