2AM's Jinwoon and "School 2013" Actress Park Se Young to Take Over As "Music Bank" Hosts
“Music Bank” gets its new hosts in 2AM‘s youngest member Jung Jinwoon and “School 2013” actress Park Se Young. Local news agencies reported the appointment of the new MCs for “Music Bank” following the confirmation that Lee Jang Woo and After School‘s Uee stepped down from their posts in April.
The singer-actor MC pair is one of the more unique innovations that “Music Bank” introduced, which explains the choice of the up-and-coming Park Se Young. Apart from Lee Jang Woo, Song Joong Ki, Seo Hyo Rim, Song Hye Kyo, Lee Na Young and So Yi Hyun were among the rookie actors who gained additional recognition as “Music Bank” MCs.
“The team-up of 2AM’s Jinwoon and 2013’s hottest newcomer Park Se Young is found to be the best face to present K-Pop to the world, as ‘Music Bank’ is broadcast live in 88 countries around the world,” a statement from the program’s producers said.
In the meantime, April 5 marks the last episode for Lee Jang Woo, who will have Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung as special MC in place of Uee. Jinwoon and Park Se Young will host their first “Music Bank” episode on April 12.
