Song Ji Hyo and Yoo Jae Suk Show Off Their Close Friendship

Rising as the next “National Siblings” after the Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Hyori duo from the variety show “Family Outing,” Yoo Jae Suk and Song Ji Hyo, who appear together in “Running Man,” showed off their close friendship in the KBS talk show, “Happy Together.”

Yoo Jae Suk revealed that when he first met Song Ji Hyo when she made a guest appearance on “Family Outing,” she, unlike most actresses, seemed easy-going and unaffected.  He said, “Since we start shooting [‘Family Outing’] early in the morning, many guest actresses are exhausted. So we when arrive at the film location, we give time for them to rest before we start shooting and most actresses just lean back and rest. But Song Ji Hyo, in contrast, immediately fell into deep sleep.” Yoo Jae Suk also imitated Song Ji Hyo sleeping, hanging his mouth wide open and bringing laughter to the set.

Song Ji Hyo explained, “I was really tired. I am naturally a person who needs a lot of sleep and it was the first time I went on a real-variety show like that. I was nervous in front of the camera so during the break, I let it all go.”

When Yoo Jae Suk added that Song Ji Hyo looks terrible after waking up from a nap, she retorted, “What about you?!” These two continued to jokingly jab each other back and forth through the April 18 episode of “Happy Together,” showing off how close they are after three years of working together on “Running Man.”
