Daesung Supports G-dragon Through Injury
We reported that on April 27, G-Dragon received an injury during his solo concert performance at the Osaka Kyocera Dome. He sprained his right ankle and was diagnosed as needing two weeks for full recovery. Despite the injury, however, G-Dragon promised to finish the rest of his solo tour in Japan as planned, and he has kept his promise, with the help of his fellow Big Bang members Daesung and Taeyang.
For the second day of G-Dragon’s Osaka tour, Daesung came over to Osaka from Tokyo to help out his teammate despite his own busy rehearsal schedule for his solo concert tour. He joined Taeyang during the encore stage to sing Big Bang’s hit songs “Bad Boy” and “Fantastic Baby.” When Taeyang asked Daesung, “Did you come from Tokyo because you were worried about G-Dragon?” Daesung humbly replied, “Still, isn’t G-Dragon the only artist who can stand on such a huge stage despite an injury?”
G-Dragon, using a walking stick and segway, successfully completed the second day of his Osaka tour singing 21 songs in front of 50,000 people. He left a message on his LINE account saying, “The second Osaka show has finished safely! Fortunately! I am thankful to everyone who came today and gave me a lot of strength. I worked even harder at singing because I was unable to move or perform much so I wonder how it was for everyone. I will work even harder tomorrow for Osaka’s final concert.”
G-Dragon will be holding the third and final day of his Osaka concerts today, April 29, reaching a total of 150,000 fans over the three-days.
