Jonghyun to Rejoin SHINee for "Why So Serious?" Promotions

Good news! Jonghyun will be rejoining his SHINee teammates for the rest of the “Why So Serious?” promotions.

A representative from SM Entertainment stated, “Jonghyun has recovered his health and will perform the title song ‘Why So Serious?’ on the May 23 broadcast of Mnet’s ‘M!Countdown.’ With Jonghyun joining forces for the already impressive song, you will be able to see a more powerful SHINee performance.”

Jonghyun was previously injured in a car accident on April 1 and has been focusing on recovering since, staying out for most of the “Why So Serious?” promotions.

The representative also added, “SHINee, who is coming up to its fifth anniversary, will be hosting a special party called ‘SHINee Day‘ on May 25. Jonghyun and the rest of the members will all attend and have an enjoyable meeting with fans.”

SHINee will be ending promotions for “Why So Serious?” this coming Sunday, May 26, on SBS’ “Inkigayo.” Then they will be preparing for their Japanese Arena tour starting at the end of June.
