Lee Hyori Reveals Personalities of the Top 3 MCs: Kang Ho Dong, Yoo Jae Suk, and Shin Dong Yup

Lee Hyori recently gave her honest opinion of some of the most popular MCs of the Korean entertainment world today.

On June 3, Lee Hyori made a guest appearance on SBS‘s radio program Power FM “Cultwo Show,” where she revealed the true personalities of emcees Yoo Jae Suk, Kang Ho Dong and Shin Dong Yup. 

Lee Hyori first talked about Kang Ho Dong since she had recently made an appearance on SBS‘s “Barefoot Friends”  (Kang Ho Dong currently serves as the show’s host). She said, “He’s a lot more sensitive than he appears.” She also remarked, “Even when you’re right next to him, he still yells at the top of his voice to communicate with you. I asked him politely to stop doing that, but I think he’s gone deaf.” Radio DJ Jung Chan Woo added, “I think Kang Ho Dong takes a lot of things to heart.”  

She went on to say, “While filming we got into the car together and Kang Ho Dong seemed very proud as he looked at the photo of his son. He seemed a lot different than the impression I’ve always had of him.”

On the other hand, she described the “Nation’s MC” Yoo Jae Suk as “someone who’s always been very strong.” She compared him to Kang Ho Dong saying, “Kang Ho Dong has a strong image on television, but he’s actually a pretty sensitive guy.”

About MC Shin Dong Yup, she joked, “He’s just a pervert. I used to work with him and I learned a lot about him.” They both laughed when Jung Chan Woo added, “He’s also a clever and shrewd guy.”
