Kim Jae Won to Wed, Bride-to-Be is Three Months Pregnant

Actor Kim Jae Won joins the onslaught of celebrity weddings so far this year with the announcement that he will be marrying June 28 to a non-celebrity, office-worker who is of same age.

In an official statement, Kim Jae Won said, “I promised to marry after meeting my partner for life.” His bride-to-be is a long-time friend and the two started dating last year in October. They are marrying after eights months of dating. It has also been revealed that the in-laws met up in January.

After the announcement, many people were curious to know if this was a shot-gun wedding, as many celebrity weddings seem to be these days, and Kim Jae Won’s agency later confirmed with the actor that the bride-to-be is three-months pregnant. The agency stated to TV Daily, “Kim Jae Won is shy about it but knowing it is not something that needs to be hidden, he revealed it.”

The rep from the agency continued, “The wedding decision wasn’t suddenly made due to the pregnancy or his upcoming project, but they have been preparing for marriage since February and meanwhile has come upon this project.”

Kim Jae Won will be leading the upcoming MBC drama “Scandal,” which is set to air later in June.
