CL Worries She Might Not be Able to Marry

Even CL is apprehensive about carrying out certain concepts for her music.

Recently turned solo artist and leader of group 2NE1, CL, had a total of 15 costume changes for the music video for her new single, “The Baddest Female.”

Among the numerous wardrobe changes were looks of a Grecian goddess, futuristic soldier, sexy red carpet, and “ghetto fab,” to name a few.

In a recent interview with Newsen, CL spoke candidly about her thoughts and affection for her costumes.

When asked what look was her favorite from the music video, CL responded by saying, “The last look where there was a picture of lips in the background was one of my favorites, but it’s hard to pick just one because I had say in all of the looks I wore in the music video.”

Then the reporter asked about the “gold teeth” that CL wore in the music video.  CL responded that the gold teeth has always been a part of hip hop culture and she too always loved them. She went on to say that other people thought it would be good if she put them on for the video. She added, “Truthfully, I was afraid that if I put the gold teeth on, it would be difficult for me to get married in the future.”

CL concluded, “Besides the gold teeth, there wasn’t anything I was apprehensive of trying. The things I like tend to be unconventional so they feel natural to me.” With a laugh she added, “I was worried just a bit about the gold teeth.”
