As fans we have all fantasized about what it would it be like to be a part of the idol world. Wouldn’t it be fun to be dolled up, wear the hottest clothes, and perform in front of thousands of adoring fans? If you were an idol, what role in the group would you play? Would you be the talented main vocal, the beautiful visual, or the responsible leader?

Take this just-for-fun quiz to find out what your role would be in a K-pop idol group! Then go through the gallery to see all the possible outcomes and the real life idol examples.

Please take into consideration that is a very tongue-in-cheek quiz and is inspired by celebrities, but not based on any one person. With the hundreds of idol groups that are out it would be impossible to name every single of them. If you think of a better idol example, please mention them in the comments. The Cutie:

As much as you want to be taken seriously, you will always have to do aegyo, no matter how old you are. It doesn’t matter if you’re a grown man or a college graduate, you will always be cute and adorable to the rest of the world. Go ahead, get a black belt or a PH.D but that’s not going to stop your fans from asking you to go “Buuing Buuing” every time you’re on stage.

The Dancer:

All you want to do is dance. You’re happiest when dancing, and if you have to sing in pastel colored skinny jeans in order to dance in front of thousands as an idol, you will do it. Even if it means dancing in animal pajamas or waving around lollipops.

The Dork:

They can call you 4D, the choding, the fake maknae, but basically you are weird. You can’t help it but at least that means people find you amusing. Whether it is because of the unintentional body gags or some really random comments, people love you on variety shows.

The Leader:

Just like being the first child, you had the misfortune of being born earlier than the rest of your group mates. Sometimes you’re not even the oldest, but you’re chosen to represent the group as the leader. That means that you’re responsible for your group, even if it means taking crap from the manager for something someone else did. You may not even be the best speaker but you’re the one who has to list off all the trainers, managers, and CEOs when you win an award. It’s also your job to start off your group’s introduction, so it’s totally worth the stress and responsibilities. Right?

The Rapper:

Yo man, you got the swags. You wear the bling and you have never been in a music video without some sort of expensive car. You want to be legit and get street cred as a genuine rapper but it’s hard to shake off the idol title.

The Visual:

People may give you crap about not being talented, but the visual make an idol group. Is it your fault that you were naturally born with really great genes? It would be a waste not to show off your long legs, perfectly portioned face, and clear skin. In order for people to take you seriously, you start acting and even if you hardly have any experience and don’t even know how to make more than three expressions, you get cast the leading role in a drama. Even if you don’t have a drama, you make the most money because people want to see your face on makeup and clothing brands. Life is sure tough for a visual.

The Vocal:
