Seungri Discusses Love, New Album, and His Respect for G-Dragon and Taeyang

Following the tails of his second teaser image for his upcoming second solo mini-album, Seungri updated his Facebook account with a message about his new album.

Seungri introduces his new album, revealing that it wasn’t hard deciding on the theme. “The type of songs that can approach the fans and the public easily and closely are love songs. I wanted to create an album that was full of love stories. I am now 24; this is a good time to be able to talk deeply about love.”

Seungri reveals a little about his personal experiences with love, writing “I don’t know if it was love or not, but there were happy times and sad times. It must have been love.”

The Big Bang member continues to talk about the track “Let’s Talk About Love,” which features fellow group members G-Dragon (Ji Yong) and Taeyang.  Both members and Seungri participated in the lyrical and musical composition of the song. Seungri writes “Ji Yong hyung created a great rap and Taeyang hyung completed the great melody for the bridge. It was so much fun. Even though we are on the same team, it felt like I was working with different artists. It was like the hyungs were coloring in the picture I drew. I have great confidence in the song because I worked with great people. The song will also raise the anticipation for their solo albums that will follow after me. P.S. I really love you Ji Yong hyung, Taeyang hyung.”

With the message, Seungri also uploaded a different version of a previously unveiled teaser image that specifically states G-Dragon and Taeyang’s featuring in the track.

Fans will be able to grab a physical copy of the album on August 21 and for those who can’t wait that long, the digital copy will be available online a couple days before on August 19.
