Lee Seung Gi to Return to Variety TV with Former "1N2D" PD Na Young Suk

Rejoice! Lee Seung Gi will be making his long awaited return to variety programming. partnering up with someone he is already very familiar with, former “1 Night, 2 Days” producer Na Young Suk.

Na Young Suk, the producer behind the successful run of “1 Night, 2 Days” when Kang Ho Dong, Eun Ji Won, Kim C,  Lee Soo Geun, MC Mong, and Lee Seung Gi were on the show, recently proved he has the Midas touch with his new hit variety show, tvN’s “Grandpas Over Flowers,” where grandpa-aged veteran actors take a road trip around the world, fending for themselves in all aspects. While this show is seeing much popularity and high ratings into its second season, Na Young Suk has stated that due to the scheduling conflicts of the actors, the “Grandpas Over Flowers” concept will end and he is planning a new “Road Trip Project 2” in which Lee Seung Gi will be a cast member along with a new set of travelers.

Reports are coming out currently that the new cast members will include four actresses, one of whom will be veteran actress Yoon Yeo Jeong. Lee Seung Gi has already worked with this actress in the past, playing her son in the drama “The King 2 Hearts.” 

This ‘Road Trip Project 2″ is expected to premiere in November on the cable network tvN.
