Mother of 2NE1’s Minzy Asks Papa YG to Send Daughter Out on More Variety Shows

Minzy’s mom sends YG Entertainment’s CEO a video letter pleading to let her daughter appear on more variety shows.

On September 8, Minzy and her mother made an appearance on KBS’s variety talk show “Mamma Mia” during the special “Korea’s representative idols” episode.

MC Lee Young Ja asked, “YG’s CEO said that Minzy dances and sings well, but doesn’t have the personality for variety programs.” Minzy replied, “All the members don’t have the personality for variety programs.”

MC Huh Kyung Hwan suggested, “Then why don’t you send Yang Hyun Suk a video letter? The mother should do it.”

The mother said in the video, “Since Minzy is now twenty, she can go on all variety programs. Please send her.”

Meanwhile, Kara’s Gyuri, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Cheon Myung Hoon, and their mothers along with other celebrities, also participated in this episode.
